Company talk. Our first exercises.

Hi Business People!

Let me remember the first exercises we will be working on related to the company talk issue:
a) You will be working individually to write your own CV + a text introducing yourself as a professional (take the video watched in class as an example).
b) You will be working in pairs to prepare a job interview using as many “bits of language” as possible from the documents we have studied so far. Let’s see some ideas:
-The interviewer may ask more information on some points on your CV.
-You may be asked about your references.
-You may be asked some private questions such as your hobbies, your strong or weak points, ...
-You can ask about the company policies and all the facilities related to your job.
-You may be willing to negotiate your job conditions.
-You may need more information about the people you will be dealing with or the tasks you will be doing.
-You may want to know about the induction process. If you perform the interview during your first day at work, you may even take part in the process. Use as many expressions as possible from the documents we have studied so far.

Have a good job!

Anna
